Why work with us

Clarity at every step, from specification to shipment

We would rather tell you exactly what we can confirm than promise what we can't. This is what every buyer can expect from us.

See how we work

Specification-led offers

Every offer is built around the grade, moisture, size and packing you need, not a generic price list.

Transparent, written quotations

Price basis, Incoterm, payment terms, lead time and validity are stated in writing, so you can compare offers like for like.

Supply checked before we quote

Supplier availability for your exact grade and quantity is checked first. If something is still being confirmed, we tell you.

Commitments in writing

Product, packing, quality acceptance and documents are agreed in writing before an order is confirmed.

How we work

We begin by understanding your requirement, verify product and supply details, prepare a written quotation and coordinate the agreed order process through shipment.

Quality & supply

Quality that is checked and agreed, not assumed

How specifications, samples, testing and packaging are handled. Where a check depends on your product or destination market, we confirm what can be arranged before we quote.

  • Specifications confirmed with suppliers

Your required parameters are shared with the supplier and confirmed before an offer is made.

  • Samples, where they can be arranged

If a sample can be arranged for your product, we agree how it is sent, evaluated and approved before the order.

  • Testing and inspection

Where applicable, we agree which tests or inspections are arranged, which organisation carries them out and at what stage.

  • Packaging and lot identification

Packing type, pack size, marking and lot identification are confirmed in writing before dispatch.

  • Discrepancies handled transparently

Any difference from the agreed specification is documented and handled under the terms agreed in your contract.

Incoterms® at a glance

The delivery terms most often used in bulk commodity quotations, in plain language.

Compare FOB, CFR & CIF
FOB Free On Board
The seller delivers the goods on board the vessel at the named port of shipment. From there, the buyer arranges freight and bears the risk.
CFR Cost and Freight
The seller pays freight to the named destination port. Risk passes to the buyer once the goods are on board at the port of shipment.
CIF Cost, Insurance and Freight
As CFR, and the seller also takes out minimum insurance cover for the voyage. Risk still passes once the goods are on board.

Summary based on Incoterms® 2020 (International Chamber of Commerce). Your quotation always states the agreed term.
